WWE Greatest Royal Rumble: 10 Things They Got Right

10. Opening With Such A Marquee Match

Triple H John Cena

That pop when John Cena made his way out to face Triple H in the opening match is not something regular WWE viewers are accustomed to hearing.

It was refreshing to hear Saudi Arabia go bananas for someone who is usually hit with heavy boos (peppered with some light cheering from the kids). This must be the first time an audience has been delighted to see Cena for years, and it almost helped the match become more than an exhibition.

Opening with the Cruiserweights wouldn't have felt as immediately grand. Sure, Cedric Alexander and Kalisto had one of the better matches of the night, but Saudi wanted to see the big names early. WWE were only too happy to scratch that itch.

It'll take us a while to get over how loud those cheers were though.
