In all probability, Hulk Hogan was the first name that popped into people's heads when it was announced that Warrior was receiving an induction, and it's a no-brainer why that is. Warrior wouldn't exist without Hogan, Hogan's the reason he became a star, he was the biggest draw in the company's history, in fact, only Austin made the company more money and in terms of household name-level star power, Hogan is second-to-none. Warrior's rivalry with Hogan is the stuff of legend, the two brightest stars in the company doing battle at WrestleMania VI, Warrior was the only realistic opponent for The Hulkster, he was due to surpass him in terms of popularity, all that was needed was for Warrior to go over. And go over he did, you could count the number of clean losses Hulk Hogan took in his prime on one hand, it was an unthinkable feat that Warrior achieved. His run as the number 1 guy in the company may not have gone to plan, but everyone who was watching wrestling at that time remembers the main event of WrestleMania VI, Warrior was being billed as the next big thing and Hogan was instrumental in that happening. There is little reasoning to not have Hogan induct Warrior, with rumours running rampant that he's on the verge of signing a new deal with the WWE for an appearance at WrestleMania XXX, it would be no surprise if it's their intention to have him induct his greatest opponent. No doubt at all, brother. Is there anyone that you think should induct The Ultimate Warrior into the Hall of Fame that hasn't been mentioned?
