WWE Hall Of Fame: 5 Candidates To Induct The Ultimate Warrior

2. Vince McMahon

vince mcmahon The man who brought Warrior to the dance, Vince McMahon invested heavily in The Ultimate Warrior, pushing him hard. You have to have a vested interest in someone if you're willing to let them beat your biggest star clean, at WrestleMania, for the World Championship. Yes, Vince chose Warrior as the successor to Hulk Hogan and it was a good plan, Warrior had the look, the charisma and the ring presence to pull it off. Unfortunately, the working relationship between the two men broke down and Vince wouldn't find his true successor to Hogan until Stone Cold Steve Austin came along, but if Vince is willing to let Warrior into the Hall of Fame, thus making his first appearance on WWE programming for over 15 years, then he's clearly forgiven Warrior for a lot. Vince is a businessman, personal animosity aside, he knows that with Warrior as the headline inductee for the 2014 Hall of Fame, many a fan from the 90s will be tuning into WrestleMania XXX just to see the man. Vince would have no problems putting over Warrior in his speech, all he needs to talk about is the tremendous success that he brought the company in the early 90s, that he eclipsed all of his peers and was the biggest wrestler on the planet. Seeing Vince and Warrior together on stage is a rare opportunity that we may never see again, so for Vince to induct him would be a special moment.
