WWE Hell In A Cell: 10 Awesome Moments

3. Brock Lesnar Cements His Legacy

A lot was made before the Hell In A Cell match between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar about who would leave with their hand raised. Even legendary announcer Jim Ross was unclear on exactly what would happen on his podcast, split over who should be the winner. In the end, it was Brock Lesnar, but only after tearing up the ring canvas and nailing his adversary with a huge F-5. That was quite the sight, seeing 'The Beast Incarnate' ripping at the material and mats making up the ring's surface. Exposing the hard wooden boards underneath gave the match an altogether more dangerous feel. That's how Lesnar's matches should play out, they should be extremely different to what everyone else is doing on the show. The Undertaker put Brock over in a massive way by staring at the lights for him. There were no shenanigans involving Paul Heyman or referees on display. Instead, 'Taker simply went down for the count and Lesnar left the better man. That makes him look momentous, and losses don't really hurt Undertaker too badly if they're done correctly. This, perhaps more than any other, definitely was one of those 'correct' losses.
