15. The Pre-Show Match Didn't Deserve To Be On The Pre-Show
On the pre-show, you had two teams composed of incredibly talented athletes. One team was made up of a former World Champion, an explosive high-flyer, and one of the most popular wrestlers on the entire roster. On the other team, you had the 2015 MITB briefcase winner, the 2015 King of the Ring, and one of the biggest heels in the business (in 2014). While the match they had at HIAC was exciting and served its purpose of waking the crowd up, none of these men shouldve been thrown together in what was essentially a shorter version of a match they had six days prior. Each one of these men wouldve made an excellent challenger for John Cenas U.S. Championship, especially since four of them have had high-profile matches with Cena in the past. Finally, if there was still any doubt over Cesaros popularity, then go watch him deliver running uppercuts to each one of his opponents at ringside. He had the audience in the palm of his hand the entire time, and when he delivered those uppercuts, he got a huge reaction each time. At this point, there really isnt any good reason why Cesaros rise to prominence was cut down after such an exciting summer.
