WWE Hell in a Cell 2015 - 15 Major Talking points

14. What Was Stardust's Purpose On The Show?

During the pre-show match, the camera cut to Stardust and the Ascension, a.k.a. The Cosmic Wasteland, who were watching the match from ringside. On a few occasions, Stardust lifted up his own €˜Stardust Section€™ sign, mocking Cesaro€™s growing movement, suggesting a potential feud between the two. The problem is, why didn€™t the Cosmic Wasteland act on this feud and remove any speculation? Why didn€™t they take the time to run down to the ring, beat down an exhausted Cesaro and his team, and actually create something compelling for the following RAW? PPVs are supposed to be perfect opportunities to end old rivalries and start new ones because they give the audience a reason to tune in to the following TV broadcast. In this case, WWE wasted an ideal opportunity to start a new midcard rivalry between either two individuals or two groups. Both scenarios would€™ve worked, especially since Stardust and his new teammates have yet to do anything of consequence on WWE programming.
