WWE Hell In A Cell 2016: 10 Shocks That Could Happen

9. T.J Perkins Willingly Lays Down For Brian Kendrick

The ongoing story between T.J Perkins and Brian Kendrick is an intriguing one. Recognising that the WWE Cruiserweight Title is important, the veteran Kendrick also realises that this could be his last run in the company as a full-time performer. This is why he asked Perkins to lay down and let him win at Hell In A Cell.

Whilst it's unlikely that the reigning champion will do just that, it's not illogical either. Such an act would fit in with the story WWE are trying to present between T.J and Kendrick, and the promotion added a lot of context and history to the relationship between both men on Raw.

A sympathetic heel is not common in pro wrestling. That's the guise Kendrick is taking for now, so Perkins may just elect to try and do his 'friend' a solid on the pay-per-view. Few would see this coming, as most believe that Brian's sympathy act is a ruse to try and lure Perkins into a trap.

What if it isn't? What if Kendrick does win the title at Hell In A Cell, thanking T.J for keeping his career ticking along?
