It wasn't perfect, but then why would it be? We don't expect perfection from the men, why is it a must for women's matches to get the same respect? Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair was the best match of the night by an absolute landslide, a beacon of excellence on a mostly mediocre show from an in-ring point of view.

The two started hot, Charlotte attacked Banks before the bell like any clear-thinking heel would. These two are supposed to have a blood feud type of rivalry, so of course things were going to start violent. Banks and Flair put on a match worthy of the Cell stipulation in 2016, which in truth is no mean feat.

The stretcher spot may have dragged on a little too long, but the work these two put in here should be lauded to the heavens and back. Charlotte showed once again that she is the number one heel in American women's wrestling today, and Banks finally put in a great performance as the plucky babyface.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
