3. Corbin's Long, Hard Road Ends At Hell In A Cell

I've always been of the opinion that Marilyn Manson's Long Hard Road Out of Hell was subtly based on Papa Shango's entrance music. Have a listen to those opening 20 seconds and try denying the first thing that comes to mind isn't WWE's resident loa eerily gurning whilst shaking his voodoo stick. Can't, can you?

Baron Corbin has the look of an aging Manson fan, with his long, dyed black hair gradually moving on to other projects besides warming his head, the pallid skin covered in angry tattoos, and unwashed band shirts corroding as flecks of printed vinyl peel away. Recently, a huge slab of metal fell on poor Marilyn (he was injured, but he's OK), and at Hell in a Cell, a slightly smaller slab of metal is heading Baron's way in the form of the US title. Don't believe me? He lost clean to Tye Dillinger on SmackDown. That's really all you need to know.

Prediction: Corbin's months (years) of general badness come to and end as he claims the US title.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
