WWE Hell In A Cell 2017: 8 Results Predictions
2. Delhi Counters Nakamura's Hopes
At this point, Jinder Mahal: WWE Champion is ketchup with lobster: beyond a joke.
Like someone falling down the stairs, it was funny, at first, but has since became deeply concerning. Not only has SmackDown's prestige plummeted with Jinder at its helm, but the champ himself has been bad. Throw in some unwelcome racism, and you have the perfect decoction of drastic.
Fat chance it'll change on Sunday. Mahal is already scheduled to appear in India this week as WWE champion, not to mention being the required standard bearer for the company's December tour of Delhi. Which means we can expect him to hold the gold until at least the Royal Rumble, where hopefully he'll be dethroned by AJ Styles ahead of a WrestleMania dream match with Shinsuke Nakamura. Coincidentally, I have half a glass of water left.
Prediction: Jinder retains, bringing the title to India to the delight of nobody.
