9. The Bar Cost Rusev Day Their Tag Title Chance

The New Day vs. Rusev Day is one of those fan-pleasing babyface vs. babyface scenarios that WWE occasionally love to book. It's also an opportunity to get Sheamus and Cesaro some real heat for the first time in a while. WWE surely can't and won't pass that up on Sunday.

At some point, The Bar have to make their presence felt and spitefully ruin Aiden English and Rusev's big chance to win tag-team gold.

The SmackDown Tag Title match may need something like that to give it purpose. Right now, it's as throwaway a match as Hell in a Cell has, and that's not good for either side. Both teams deserve to be in heated matches, and they're not going to get that at HIAC without some heels poking their nose in.

If The Bar cost Rusev Day their shot, it'll lead to further matches on TV that establish Sheamus and Cesaro as a credible threat to everyone else on the roster. Currently, that's not the case, and this is the ideal time to put things right.
