WWE Hell In A Cell 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. WWE Keep It Relatively Short

Does HIAC need to be a busy, 11-match card that lasts over four hours? No, not particularly. It's clearly a nuisance to WWE as it is, so they'd be best off keeping things as short as they can this Sunday. Between SmackDown's jump to FOX, the increased emphasis on ratings and NXT's war with AEW, creative already have a lot on their plate.

Social media isn't going to whine if this show is three hours max.

It's a dead rubber anyway due to the upcoming WWE Draft, and that's a sad indictment of how far the Cell gimmick has fallen. There was a time when the mere words 'Hell In A Cell' would whip fans into a frenzy and top anything else that was happening in wrestling. That's not the case in 2019.

By keeping things on the shorter side and breezing through HIAC, WWE would be doing everyone a favour. People only genuinely care about one or two matches, being brutally honest, and there's no need for road agents to be rushed off their feet planning matches folks will forget about 10 minutes later.
