If you're anything like the guy writing this, then you've smiled during the sunshiny daytime at some of WWE's storytelling and then had nightmares from hell come bedtime about what might happen this Sunday. The 12th Hell In A Cell pay-per-view isn't exactly bursting at the seams with matches.

That's a good thing.

At press time, WWE has only announced five bouts in total, and three of those are titular cage battles. Could this be the shortest pay-per-view of the entire year? It's certainly looking like it unless WWE go mad and fling as many inconsequential add-ons as they can at the thing in some sort of last-minute panic. That, being brutally honest, would be a massive mistake.

Full focus should be on the Cell bouts anyway. That's been a recurring problem with this pay-per-view since it launched back in 2009 - it feels forced, and few HIAC matches have actually deserved the once-mighty stipulation. Not to worry, because WWE has a trio of scraps on their hands in 2020 that very much do.
