5. History Distracts Asuka & Becky Lynch

It's pretty odd that reigning Raw Women's Champ Bianca Belair is coming into this three-way feeling a tad like the bout's third wheel. Becky Lynch and Asuka have been going back-and-forth about everything from Becks' pregnancy to Asuka being handed the belt back in 2020.

That's been WWE's main focus when setting this one up, not the champion.

On the plus side, at least the match has a spin-off narrative between challengers. Not many three-way matches in WWE circles have that, and it does give creative an out; Asuka and Lynch can be distracted with their own squabbles, thus leaving the door open for Belair to retain.

Then, post-HIAC, Becky and Asuka can continue their feud and Bianca can roll on to fresh challenges. It does feel far too early to even think about upending her latest Women's Title reign, and there's no way Lynch (especially) should be getting the belt back right now anyway.
