WWE Icon The Undertaker Is "Proud" Of This AEW Wrestler

Ricky Starks has told 'The Wrestling Classic' that he keeps in touch with WWE legend The Undertaker.
The rising AEW star sparred with 'Taker when he was training for his WrestleMania 34 match vs. John Cena, and he even asked the icon to watch one of his matches from the independent scene. 'The Deadman' was apparently impressed, because he keeps tabs on what Ricky is doing in AEW and recently told Starks he's "proud" of how far the ex-Team Taz man has come.
That must be some confidence boost for Starks.
'Taker also told Ricky that "he's doing great", and is looking forward to bigger and better things in 2023. So, there you go - none other than The Undertaker is a mentor to one of AEW's brightest breakout names, and they keep in touch as much as their schedules allow.
It must've been a thrill for Starks to take some piledrivers and chokeslams from one of the most iconic names in pro wrestling history back in 2018. He probably didn't know then that The Undertaker would be keeping an eye on his career for good.
