6. This Could Just Be A One Off Champion Vs Champion Bout
The expectancy from both belts being faced off at Survivor Series is that they will both be on the line when Orton and Cena inevitably meet. But it may not be the case, perhaps WWE are just going to do a straight up champion vs champion match to see who the better man and "face of the company" really is. The belts may never be on the line. If WWE booked that angle, then they would get all the selling point of booking a champion v champion, but also retain the usefulness of having two belts to book people to chase. Even without the belts on the line, Orton versus Cena with both men in such prominent positions right now is an enticing sell. Perhaps WWE could even go down this route every year, have an end of year battle between the World Champion and WWE Champion to see who the better man is. That idea has potential, and could become a new tradition for the company to exploit.
