WWE: Kane's 10 Most Memorable Moments

8. Returning With Paul Bearer (2000)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzhxwuizY9M This ranks up as one of Kane's better returns, taking place at the height of the McMahon-Helmsley era. Having been taken out after Tori and X-Pac backstabbed him, Kane was missing from action as DX and the Radicalz started to take over the WWF. A ragtag team of The Rock, Mankind and Too Cool attempted to take on the combined heels, but when an 8 man beatdown started to occur, it seemed that there was no-saviour coming. Then the lights went out. As JR, King and Stephanie McMahon (guesting on commentary) questioned why, the crowd were clearly already aware of what was to happen. The roar that Paul Bearer received as the familiar organ music hit was matched and eclipsed by the noise that accompanied Kane's pyro and the Big Red Machine's return itself. After single-handedly taking out the majority of the heels, Kane stood tall in the ring with the fans going wild. It was one of several occasions in 2000 when Kane could have very easily been pushed in to being a real title contender.
