7. Cashing in Money in the Bank (2010)

It was also thanks to one of the most concerted efforts of pushing Kane in quiet a while; the Big Red Machine was on a mission to find out who had attacked his brother and left him in a "vegetative state". Going in to Money in the Bank, Kane's list of suspects seemed longer than one man could go through - yet despite the seeming stress on him, Kane still came out victorious in the Smackdown MITB match. Fast forward to later in the night and at the culmination of the Jack Swagger-Rey Mysterio match for the World Heavyweight Title, Swagger snapped after being defeated and attempted to break Mysterio's ankle. Kane came out to make the save, having placed Swagger as a prime suspect. Just when it seemed Mysterio was safe, Kane returned to the ring with briefcase and referee in tow. A brutal Chokeslam and then the overkill of a Tombstone Piledriver sealed the deal and Kane took the big gold belt with him, also signifying the start of the heel turn that would reveal himself as Taker's assailant.
