2. X-Pac
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4j5tesx8AA I must admit that the team of X-Pac and Kane in 1999 was a personal favourite of mine. They had a unique chemistry, with the fast paced, degenerate X-Pac mixed with the monstrous, hard hitting Kane. But it was during their time together which we first saw the human side of Kane shine through, particularly as he looked to protect his friend against the evil Undertaker and Big Show. The combination of the light-heavyweight X-Pac and super-heavyweight Kane came together in the aftermath of WrestleMania XV in 1999, having both been screwed by Triple H at the event. This lead to two runs with the WWF Tag Team titles as Kane's bond with X-Pac grew throughout their time together, and even lead to Kane speaking unaided for the first time. Their first run with the belts came on Monday Night Raw on March 30, 1999, defeating Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart for the straps and keeping them for nearly two months, before dropping them to the Acolytes. They won the belts back in early August, before losing them to the Undertaker and Big Show at Summerslam, whom they were involved in a feud with. The pair split up in November of 1999, when X-Pac turned on Kane after reforming DX with Triple H, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn. X-Pac would also steal Kane's girlfriend, Tori, and the two feuded for several months after their split.
