6. GUNTHER Becomes King

There's a sense of inevitability about this.

GUNTHER has been seeking his next chapter since dropping the IC Title to Sami Zayn back at 'Mania. In the interim, WWE streamlined his Imperium group by moving Giovanni Vinci over to SmackDown in the Draft, which means GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser are the only ones flying that flag.

Imperium's focal point becoming 'King' makes the most sense. GUNTHER was the stand out name when the first round tourney brackets were released, and nothing has changed on that front since creative starting whittling down the field. Many fans agree seeing GUNTHER become a "King Of Wrestling" in WWE would be killer.

That's an important follow-up, actually - he shouldn't be some goofy royal akin to 'King' Sheamus or even 'King' Booker. Sure, "Bookah" worked a treat, but going the silly route wouldn't suit GUNTHER one bit. He can make KOTR his own beast, and turn the crown into something more serious.
