Either Randy Orton Or Tama Tonga will wrestle GUNTHER in that King Of The Ring final this weekend. When browsing socials, this fan saw a few others suggest Tama had to win because he's a fresh face in WWE circles. They made the fair point that Randy "doesn't need to win anyway".

Sadly for Tonga, Orton should beat him and advance to the final. GUNTHER vs. Randy is a much tastier proposition than GUNTHER vs. Tama, if only because it has a natural hated heel vs. beloved babyface vibe to it that The Bloodline's new recruit obviously lacks. Nobody's cheering Tonga over anyone, let's be real.

Besides, much like Lyra Valkyria beating Bianca Belair, GUNTHER toppling Orton would mean a hell of a lot to his career. That's always a match WWE can come back to later on when the big Austrian is World Champ too. Granted, Randy has never been 'King' himself, but nah. He doesn't need that in 2024.

Certainly not as much as GUNTHER.
