All Elite Wrestling has a prominent fan from the wrestling business - 'The Great One' himself!

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson revealed that he keeps abreast of the ongoing adventures of Cody, Kenny Omega and the gang during an Instagram Live session with some of the millions (and millions) of his fans.

Responding to a query asking if he had taken a look at WWE's opposition, he responded with the following; "Do I watch AEW? Yeah of course I do, I watch AEW. I'm very happy for the success of that company. Because it's always a good thing, and it creates a hunger, which is good".

'The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment' was presumably referring to the competitive element AEW's very existence brought back to the North American scene in 2019 - the very same energy that allowed for his sensational growth as a Superstar in the late 1990s.

The Rock is deeply entrenched in WWE history and may well play a different part in its future via daughter and current Performance Center trainee Simone, but it was pleasing to hear him speaking frankly about the benefit the opposition brings to the industry at large.
