7. The Miz Reminded Us Why He's Such A Good Heel
John CantonWhen The Miz entered the building he was booed. Fans know he's back to being a heel after his Raw and Smackdown this week. It's the role that is right for him. I know that many of us on this site have written about it for months, so it's good to see that WWE brought him back that way. Prior to the match, Miz did a great promo about how he was a Hollywood star that Hollywood types didn't want to wrestle again, but he loved doing it so much. It was basically his way of telling us that he loved wrestling, yet we were still booing the guy for it. The promo became funny when he told his opponent, whoever it was going to be, that they should not hit him in the face because then people in Hollywood would be upset about it. The crowd really bought into it. What was interesting about this promo also was that some WWE employee came out from the back to record him on his phone. I assume that was done so they could record the promo, send it to others in the company and see what they think about it because then if they like it perhaps he will do that kind of promo on TV in the near future. It was a classic house show promo done to get heat. It led right into his match.
