3. The Best Thing About Great Khali's Match Was That It Was Short
John CantonThe first match after the break was The Great Khali taking on Fandango. You could tell that people that got out of their seat for the break didn't hurry back when they heard his music. There was a guy sitting near us asking "how is he still wrestling?" Money talks, dude. It sure does. Plus, he's valuable for WWE in the Indian market. Khali is massive up close, but you can also see he's got a very pronounced limp when he walks too. Fandango danced his way down to the ring with Layla. She was looking nice in a dress. Over the years I have found that Layla was great at interacting with fans, but in this match she really didn't do much except react to the actions in the ring. The whole thing might have been about four minutes long. At least it was short. A note about Layla is that when she arrived to the arena in a white pickup truck a lot of fans thought it was AJ Lee. We were laughing because we knew it wasn't AJ at this show. Layla was like "I'm not AJ" and she just walked into the building. It was a nice heel move on her part, but she was justified for doing it.
