By all accounts and purposes, it seems like only a matter of days or even hours before WWE announces a temporary move from the WWE Performance Center to Orlando’s Amway Center for WWE SummerSlam and potentially the company’s regular TV product – and now comes an interesting update on all of this.

According to the usually reliable @WrestleVotes, WWE is planning to utilise a unique interactive fan system for any and all shows held at the Amway Center.

The current word on this interactive system is that fans will appear on the show on LED boards, and that the interactive experience will be hosted and handled by WWE stars past and present. It’s also worth noting that the venue has more than 2,500 square feet of LED space.

It was previously announced that the Amway Center was closed until 2021, but the current belief is that WWE has agreed a “long term residency” to host shows at the venue – meaning that August 23’s SummerSlam PPV could be followed by Raw, SmackDown, and even NXT shows taking place at the locale.

WWE is expected to make an official announcement on the Amway Center move at some point over the next few days.
