WWE Money In The Bank 2011 Roster: Where Are They Now?

Christian vs. Randy Orton

We wonder what Randy Orton's reaction in 2011 would've been had somebody told him he'd be losing to Jinder Mahal at the same event around 6 years later. Much like the fans, it'd likely be one of surprise. Back at MITB 2011, Orton lost the World Heavyweight Title to Christian too, although the disqualification finish was designed to protect him.

Today, Orton remains a key part of the WWE product, but the same sadly can't be said for Christian. Suffering a nasty concussion during a Fatal-4-Way on the March 24, 2014 episode of Raw, the Canadian wouldn't work inside a WWE ring again. By the Summer of 2016, he was released from his contract with the company.

WWE did use Christian for Network content (alongside longtime tag partner Edge), but his career came to a premature end following concussion issues. The Edge & Christian show airing on the WWE Network didn't quite "Reek Of Awesomeness", but at least it gave Christian something to do post-retirement.
