WWE Money In The Bank 2011 Roster: Where Are They Now?

CM Punk vs. John Cena

John Cena is back on WWE TV (defying the entire purpose of the Draft by announcing he will appear on both Raw and SmackDown) following a short sabbatical to film episodes of American Grit post-WrestleMania 33. His in-ring WWE career is definitely winding down, but he's still there. As everyone knows, CM Punk isn't.

Punk's relationship with WWE was rocky when he walked out on Raw in January, 2014 and then grew worse when he appeared on Colt Cabana's podcast to tear into Triple H, Vince and Stephanie McMahon later that year. Things haven't healed yet, but Punk doesn't seem to care. In late-2014, he signed a multi-fight deal with UFC and marked his Octagon debut with a loss to Mickey Gall at UFC 203 last September.

As Cena continues his role as one of WWE's chief poster boys, Punk is the renegade who hurled his toys from the pram, badmouthed the McMahon family and decided he wanted to do something other than pro wrestling. To date, he hasn't returned to the industry, and there's no clear signs he will any time soon.
