WWE Money In The Bank 2016: 10 Awesome Moments

4. Sami Zayn Drives Kevin Owens Onto The Edge Of The Ladder

Those who weren't familiar with either Kevin Owens or Sami Zayn before their arrival in WWE must be having a blast looking back at their old matches. As Kevin Steen and El Generico respectively, both men put one another through some serious physical strive in both ROH and PWG many moons ago. At Money In The Bank, they were up to their old tricks.

In 2016, bearing in mind that WWE still remains firmly under the hold of 'PG', who ever thought they'd see a Michinoku Driver onto a prone ladder in the company? Topping that, the actual ladder itself was resting on its edge, meaning Kevin Owens had an even smaller target to land on.

There were no contrived attempts to put over the danger of the move from those on commentary, JBL in particular seemed very surprised (almost disturbed) by what he had seen. Zayn's Michinoku Driver on Owens landed perfectly, depending on your point of view.

A certain Mr. Owens isn't going to get away without some bruising on his lower back and tailbone after that one.
