WWE Money In The Bank 2016: 10 Things We Learned

6. Charlotte Desperately Needs The Sasha Banks Challenge

There was a limp feel to the women's tag-team match at Money In The Bank, certainly heading into the pay-per-view. By comparison to hot collisions like Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch from the Royal Rumble or the Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania 32, there was just something lacking.

The introduction of Dana Brooke has done little to really placate that issue either. Whilst she's a fine heater for the WWE Women's Champion, she's also not nearly as over as Ric Flair. Still, it'd be churlish to complain that WWE are giving a fresh female wrestler the chance to become involved in the title scene.

It's nonetheless difficult to shake the feeling that things are meandering along right now, Charlotte needs something colossal to put that spark back into the division. Rather bluntly, she needs the challenge of Sasha Banks to heat things up once more.

There are no other top challengers to provide a distraction before SummerSlam, especially now that Becky Lynch looks to be preoccupied. Banks is the saviour that the women's division needs, one that will hopefully refreshen the ailing title picture.
