Already, some on social media are calling Money In The Bank the best WWE pay-per-view of the year thus far. That's some high praise indeed, especially considering the fact that it was one of the more stacked cards in recent memory and not everything was top quality (Rusev vs. Titus O'Neil, for example).

Most of the positivity has to do with the main three matches, all of which delivered a truckload of entertainment. Naturally, the actual Money In The Bank Ladder Match was a highlight, complete with sick bumps and a frenetic pace fans have come to expect. It was matched by both AJ Styles vs. John Cena and Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins though, both of which were memorable for very different reasons.

The WWE Draft is upcoming, set to take place on the first live broadcast of a revitalised SmackDown on Tuesday, July 19. The company didn't only have that in mind at Money In The Bank, they also had to ensure that things keep ticking along towards Battleground and SummerSlam.

Analysing Money In The Bank, just what did WWE get right? Let's look at the biggest plus points from the event...

It would have been truly exciting, but WWE chose not to open the pay-per-view with the titular Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Instead, that particular slot was given to the Fatal-4-Way bout for the WWE Tag-Team Titles, a decision which ended up being vindicated by those involved.

First of all, fans popped huge when the music of Enzo Amore and Big Cass started blaring over the speakers. Both they and The New Day were able to bed people into the show with their witty banter, and the match itself was full-on action, as we all expected.

As it turned out, the company were right to keep the Money In The Bank encounter until much later in the show. The Tag Title match seemed more important by virtue of going out first, so it was a smart move on WWE's part to schedule things this way.

They were also right to keep the WWE Tag-Team Titles on The New Day, who are now close to breaking a record for the belts.
