6. Natalya Turning Heel

The upcoming brand split demands the idea of change in WWE, which made Natalya's turn to the dark side all the more compelling. The timing couldn't be better for the Canadian, as she was ripe for a change. After losing time and time again to Charlotte, there was nowhere else to take her as a babyface.

Now, she can look forward to a fresh-feeling feud against Becky Lynch. It's unlikely to thrust either back into the WWE Women's Title hunt (that slot is surely reserved for Sasha Banks), but it's something at least. It's certainly better than contesting meaningless matches on Raw and SmackDown over the next few months.

Lynch can attack Natalya with reason, and there's a fair chance matches between the pair will be good. As a babyface, Natalya had run out of steam; her latest series of title bouts against Charlotte could not be topped by anything else WWE had in mind for her as one of the good guys.

A heel run makes her viable once again, and helps shake up the female division a little.
