This is happening, that's all there is too it. Titus O'Neil's first singles championship attempt will not be one he wants to remember.

On one hand you have Rusev, a man WWE appears to have rejuvinated faith in, who has the potential to become the fearsome heel he was destined to be before his momentum was cut short. On the other, Titus O'Neil, the very definition of generic.

Titus is one hell of a guy by all reports, dedicating much of his little spare time to working with communities and using his star power for the better. He is undoubtedly an upstanding citizen, but he is a damn boring pro wrestler. There is absolutely nothing about him that stands out from the rest of the pack.

What's surprising is that O'Neil has even found himself in this position having been on the brink of being released back in February. Then again, if he is to be mauled by Rusev as expected, it's not surprising at all.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
