WWE Money In The Bank 2017: 8 Things That Must Happen

2. Jinder Mahal Beats Randy Orton Again

Ignore the fact Jinder Mahal was a jobber before WWE triggered his push, because the guy has been superb in the heel role.

Just look at the heat he gets during promos on SmackDown for proof; then, for a little contrast, look at the lack of heat Bray Wyatt got during his own (admittedly short) run as WWE Champ.

People at Money In The Bank will want Randy Orton to beat Mahal badly, and that's exactly why it shouldn't happen. Why put the title back on Orton so quickly and completely shatter any illusions that Jinder is now a top guy in one fell swoop? WWE would be right back to square one with Mahal, which seems pointless.

Besides, Randy doesn't need the belt these days. The best solution is to have Mahal beat Orton decisively, and then move on. All signs are pointing towards a hastily-put together feud with John Cena for SummerSlam anyway.

WWE won't be able to resist that 'Patriotic American vs. Evil Foreign Menace' angle.
