7. Opening With The Women's MITB Match

WWE made the smart move of opening Sunday's show with the first ever female Money In The Bank match. This had to happen, because the girls could concentrate on doing their thing without having to worry about following anything else. Putting them on after the men's MITB would have been suicide, for example.

By letting Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Tamina, Carmella, and Natalya tear into one another from the off unopposed, WWE were reaffirming faith in SmackDown's women. It's just a shame that this didn't extend to a solid finish; James Ellsworth had no business winning the match for his woman. That should've been a tease and nothing else.

WWE sullied their own claims of 'making history' here, but it wasn't all doom and gloom. At least the women got to go out first and hit those ladder bumps before their male counterparts. Next time though, a better ending is needed, head writers.
