Given that the pay-per-view is named after the match type, one of those Money In The Bank ladder affairs had to headline the show. It was always going to be the male match, because it featured way more star power from guys like AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Kevin Owens. Besides, it was for a crack at the WWE Title.

Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton would have died a death had it went on after those crazy cats stole the show with some big bumps and much-anticipated drama. No amount of Randy hurling The Singh Brothers around like they're toys could top Zayn powerbombing Ziggler from atop a ladder or Styles facing off with Nakamura.

Even over 12 years on from debuting on WWE pay-per-view, Money In The Bank retains that big match feel people gobble up. This six-man spot fest was a worthy headliner for the show, because it was the main selling point of the event in the first place.
