WWE Money In The Bank 2017: Rating Each Entrant's Odds Of Winning

2. Shinsuke Nakamura

He’s drawing some of the loudest crowd reactions in the company at the moment, but Shinsuke Nakamura’s main roster run has been a mixed bag thus far. He and Dolph Ziggler built little heat ahead of their Backlash match, and the bout was far too competitive, with Nakamura, a potential superstar, spending much of the match on the back foot against his lowly opponent.

‘The King Of Strong Style’ was victorious, however, and has maintained his winning ways since the pay-per-view, picking up three consecutive victories in recent weeks. All signs point towards Nakamura making it to the main event sooner rather than later, and with the Ziggler feud over, there’s every chance WWE could pull the trigger at Money In The Bank.

There’s actually very little preventing Nakamura from walking away with the briefcase.

The fans adore him, and he’s one of the best wrestlers in the world on his (unrestricted) day. Having pinned United States Champion Kevin Owens on three successive SmackDowns, he has all the momentum in the world at the moment, even if Baron Corbin did flatten him to end the last show.

With nothing else on his immediate horizon, Shinsuke has a clear pathway to success on June 18th.

Odds: Favourable.
