WWE Money In The Bank 2017: Rating Each Entrant's Odds Of Winning

1. Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin’s main event push is inevitable. ‘The Lone Wolf’ hasn’t won a televised singles match since April 4th, but WWE love to book wrestlers in losing positions ahead of a big win, and this is likely what’s happening at the moment. His ascension has reportedly been on the cards for months, and Money In The Bank seems a logical place to pull the trigger.

Corbin first flirted with the main event last year, but drifted down the card to feud with Dean Ambrose over the Intercontinental Title. April saw sent Ambrose to Raw, however, and several wrestling journalists have speculated that WWE are high on Baron, and want to build a rivalry between him and Randy Orton this summer.

That feud would be dependent on Orton recovering the WWE Championship, but Baron is a heavy favourite in the betting odds. The backstage talk surrounding him has been nothing but positive lately, and while he still has detractors, Corbin would probably make a good winner.

Holding the briefcase is much better suited to a heel than a face, as their loose morals make it easier to mount a sneaky cash-in, and Corbin, for all his flaws, has one of the better defined heel characters on SD at the moment.

Odds: Favourite.
