WWE Money In The Bank 2018: 10 Things WWE Got Right

1. The Alexa Bliss Cash In

The night belonged to Alexa Bliss though.

It seems bullies do win in WWE's world, because Bliss pulled a fast one by interrupting the Nia Jax vs. Ronda Rousey Raw Women's Title match, smashed both with the MITB briefcase and took the title for herself. It was a dirt bag move, as any heel cash in should be, and it protected Rousey brilliantly.

Ronda didn't have to suffer an unnecessary loss in her first one-on-one match as a pro wrestler, and the finish also saved Nia Jax from a clean loss too. Better yet, Bliss came across as the smartest woman under WWE's umbrella by capitalising at the most opportune moment.

The women's MITB briefcase didn't need another lengthy story similar to Carmella's. It was important Bliss cashed in quickly and made her advantage count, so WWE deserve praise for their storytelling and talent preservation exercise here.
