The once-timid "little" Dominic is big enough to take some bumps now, and he should at MITB, but why?

Simple reason: Samoa Joe was consistently one of the best talkers WWE had under contract in 2018, and he hasn't had that sustained push to the top as a heel his hard work merits. Destroying Rey Mysterio once again this Sunday and then pushing his son around would go some way to establishing Joe as Raw's bully boy.

If handled correctly, the Samoan would replace Brock Lesnar in the role of entitled prizefighter who needs taken down a peg or two. Enter Seth Rollins, the 'Beast Slayer' who excels at giving heels their comeuppance. That, if WWE so wish, could be the best program of the entire summer, and it could lead to Joe becoming the promotion's next dual champion.

Baby steps will do, at least for now. Mysterio hardly needs another title at this point in his career, and Dominic's love for his father is too good to leave on the cutting room floor. Get in that Coquina Clutch, Dom.
