Despite the astonishing strength of the women’s division in WWE, we enter the pivotal Money In The Bank Ladder match with a relatively underwhelming field. Three former champions, sure, but nobody in there you really think the company believes in.

It sucks to say that given how good Bayley can be, how great Alexa’s been holding belts, how surprisingly enjoyable Carmella’s run was and, well, all the things that we’re still expecting for Ember Moon. But, regardless, it’s not exactly a who’s-who of 2019’s main event scene.

Thus, and with the persisting rumours that WWE really wants to use the briefcases as star-makers this year, Mandy Rose is being touted as the only real candidate backstage.
