Surely this won't happen!?

Cody Rhodes was talking about making a comeback pretty much as soon as Hell In A Cell was over and done with. There, he battled through agonising pain to work a marvellous cage bout with Seth Rollins, but it's important Rhodes gets the chance to heal up properly before returning.

Pro wrestlers don't like to sit on the shelf for long though, and Cody will be mindful of how quickly workers are forgotten if they're out of the spotlight for a while. That's why, come Money In The Bank, he could gingerly jog out to cost Rollins the chance to become 'Mr. MITB'.

Rhodes might reason that this makes sense. Why would he want to see Seth haul down the briefcase when he has the opportunity to f*ck things up for his chief rival? That pec tear was so nasty though, and Cody must properly recuperate without giving WWE life a second thought.

No premature returns please; not even for one night.
