WWE Money In The Bank 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

1. Brock Lesnar Wins MITB

Images of Brock Lesnar dancing with the MITB briefcase are floating through your mind.

This is possible whether WWE fills that final slot on SmackDown ahead of time or not. There'd be nothing stopping 'The Beast' from attacking someone like Sami Zayn (which would actually make sense due to Sami's loose affiliation with The Bloodline) and replacing him in the ladder match.

Alternatively, the company might keep that final spot open and have Lesnar fill it as a mystery participant. Either way, it'd be a another total waste of the Money In The Bank premise. Like Becky Lynch, Brock has plans for SummerSlam anyway, and he defo doesn't need to scoop more glory for himself along the way.

WWE would look like chumps for setting up that 'Last Man Standing' bout for 30 July ahead of time if they're gonna go with Lesnar as a "surprise" MITB winner yet again. This is the kind of outcome that'd render the pay-per-view redundant.
