WWE Money In The Bank 2022: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
A solid night of wrestling punctuated by an incredible tag titles match.
WWE kept up their impressive streak of quality Premium Live Events as of late with this year's Money in the Bank show.
Though it's fair to say that the company has struggled to do much truly new or refreshing with the event in recent times - and this year's is certainly no exception - the consistency of the wrestling on offer here really speaks for itself.
The show's quality never dipped below a single mediocre match, and was bolstered by three strong peaks: good-to-great bookending Money in the Bank matches and an absolute barn-burner of a tag titles bout.
While some of the night's big winners will split fans down the middle, the show at least created some compelling in-roads as we hurtle towards SummerSlam, and once again proved that these shorter shows with fewer matches are so, so much more enjoyable - and less exhausting! - to watch.
It's unlikely that many will remember this as one of the strongest Money in the Bank events, but absolutely rock solid with some lurches into greatness is more than enough to make it a worthwhile sit...
7. WWE Raw Women's Title: Bianca Belair (c) Vs. Carmella
Result: Bianca drilled Carmella with the K.O.D. to retain the strap (7:10).
Rating: There's something to be said for a match that understands the audience's investment is fairly minimal and so does its thing within a brief runtime nobody can really get mad at.
Indeed, there were no prizes for guessing the winner of this match, yet it sensibly ran short and gave Carmella just enough to do that it wasn't an outright squash.
Sure, it's disappointing that WWE opts for these non-event filler matches when there are surely more inspired possible pairings for Bianca, but it did its thing in relatively inoffensive fashion regardless. Not great, not terrible - it just was. 5/10
