WWE Money In The Bank 2026: 9 Things That NEED To Happen

6. But Oba Stands Tall In The End

Here it is, the end result you're expecting.

At first, it was kinda tempting to pitch putting Bronson Reed over here so his comeback from injury meant even more, but let's face facts about something right here and right now: Losing to Oba Femi won't hurt Reed one bit. Oba is the current 'King Of The Ring' (shhh, whisper it!) and sent Brock Lesnar packing. Staring at the lights for him is never unreasonable.

Besides, that aforementioned ring-breaking mega-bump would mask the match result slightly and give Paul Heyman something to talk about on TV after the fact. If Bronson survives that but just can't thrive as quickly as Femi, then...where's the damage to his aura? He wouldn't be doing the job for a nobody, put it that way.

Triple H clearly wants to put everything he has behind Oba and turn 'The Ruler' into one of WWE's top stars by the time WrestleMania 43 rolls around in early 2027. To do that, 'The Game' will know fine well how important it is to keep Femi strong no matter who he shares the ring with. Bronson's time may well come, but not at the expense of Oba and that's just the way it is.

Seeing a visibly wounded by still-powerful Femi stand up from the wreckage of a destroyed ring canvas before putting Reed down for the 3 count sounds fun. Post-match, Mr. KOTR would only look like a million bucks as he growled and snarled his way through a celebration.

Meanwhile, Bronson could dismiss those trying to help him to the back and walk out on his own terms with a scowl. Job done. Literally.
