Its difficult to think of a reason why Santino should win this match. Maybe it would provide some light-hearted relief to see him win the MITB and the younger fans would revel in his success. Or perhaps he could again be the ultimate underdog and the win could bring about a transition from a comedy mid-carder to a serious and focused champion. Theres a clear reason why Santino should not be afforded this wonderful opportunity: hes a comedy character. His matches are either squash losses to guys like Big Show and Tensai or comedy victories over guys like David Otunga. It would be a huge waste for somebody who the audience dont take seriously to win the match. Even worse, for those who are already frustrated with this PG-era, a Santino World Heavyweight Title win could push them over the edge.
