Following the more recent trend of at least one immediate cash-in on the night of the MITB PPV event, Bayley walked into 2019's show with nothing and wandered out as a former Ms. Money in the Bank and your new SmackDown Women's Champion.
Becky Lynch was enjoying a run as both Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion before she was beaten by Charlotte Flair for the belt on the night - thanks to some Lacey Evans assistance. After decking Flair in a post-match scuffle, Bayley nailed the new champ with an elbow drop from the top rope and pinned Flair to claim her new prize.
This made Bayley the first ever WWE Women's Grand Slam Champion.
She'd feud with Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross and Ember Moon over the next few months, before turning heel after she attacked Becky Lynch with best pal Sasha Banks on the September 2 episode of Monday Night Raw. Bayley then lost her belt to Charlotte Flair at Hell in a Cell, but reclaimed her title on the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX. She also unveiled a new haircut and ring attire after slicing her 'Bayley Buddies' to bits with an axe.
She still reigns as SmackDown Women's Champion today and has successfully defended her title against Naomi, Lacey Evans, Carmella, Sasha Banks and Tamina, as of writing.
