Cash In: Unsuccessful.

Braun Strowman did successfully defend his MITB contract against Kevin Owens at SummerSlam 2018. However, he wasn't as successful when he eventually cashed-in his contract against Universal Champion Roman Reigns inside of Hell in a Cell at the titular PPV.

With the match in the balance, a p*ssed off Brock Lesnar returned on the night to beat the crap out of Reigns and Strowman inside of the formidable structure. Therefore forcing the match to end in a no contest.

This meant that Strowman was the first ever star to have their cash-in end in a no contest.

Various failed attempts to win the big one followed this event. Strowman lost a vacant Universal Championship match to Lesnar at Crown Jewel and he then came up short against Seth Rollins in a battle for the big red belt at 2019's Clash of Champions.

After this, a box office showdown with Heavyweight boxing sensation Tyson Fury was booked for that year's Crown Jewel, with Strowman losing their clash via punch-induced count-out.

His first ever singles title win finally came in 2020, beating Shinsuke Nakamura to become Intercontinental Champion on the January 31 episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.

Yet, his WWE career highlight came recently when Strowman beat Universal Champion Goldberg for the belt at WrestleMania 36.
