San Juan in Puerto Rico was on for Backlash earlier this month. The locals popped big for every match on the show, and their energy from the stands motivated everyone on WWE's roster to put on some show. There was nothing 'B' level about this so-called 'B' show pay-per-view, put it that way.

Can Night Of Champions match it? That remains to be seen.

The Saudi cards typically play before bouts of crushing silence. Early shows, like the Greatest Royal Rumble, had an excuse; Saudi royalty hoovered up ringside seats, and most looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. WWE has smartly changed that since, but the shows still lack some oomph in terms of overall atmosphere.

In other words, this could be a downer for anybody who watched Backlash and enjoyed the hell out of it. A lively crowd 100% enhances what fans see back home, so fingers crossed Jeddah is more San Juan and less...well, Jeddah.
