Brace yourselves for a screwy finish.

Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus was originally rumoured for SummerSlam, but WWE apparently didn't fancy waiting that long to make the first match happen. Note the wording there. The first match. Yeah, Night Of Champions is likely to be the series opener for these two heading through the rest of summer.

That's fine, but it means they'll need to either work a double disqualification or double countout in the red hot heat of Jeddah. Perhaps Becks can revert to her bloody-nosed heights as 'The Man' after being goaded by Trish, then the ref can step in for an unpopular DQ.

Alternatively, having Stratus intentionally take the disqualification (if they don't want to go the double route) would pave the way to more in the future. This is only chapter one; some sort of big gimmick clash is surely incoming once WWE lands in Detroit for SummerSlam.

Calling it now.
