7. Sheamus (C) Vs. Cesaro - United States Championship - 2014

Last year's event comes up again with the tougher than tough battle between Sheamus and Cesaro for the United States championship. The two styles on display mix perfectly, and there aren't many superstars who share the same chemistry of the two Europeans.

Sheamus was always at his best as a babyface taking a beating until his hair is matted down and his body red-raw, and Cesaro's feats of strength are extra impressive when performed on individuals of Sheamus' size. Sheamus would retain the title in a hard fought battle.

Other Options - The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan (2010) - This is arguably a better match and for sure a better story, but the rules of the mixtape dictate against it.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
